Shifting Fast provides residential and commercial moving and relocation services across the UAE, which may include home and villa moving, office relocation, packing and unpacking, loading and unloading, furniture assembly, and storage solutions. 2. Quotations and Bookings
Quotations are based on the information you provide about your move, including item inventory, access conditions, floor levels, and distance. Prices are quoted in UAE Dirhams (AED) unless stated otherwise. Payment terms, accepted payment methods, and any deposit requirements will be communicated to you at the time of booking. You agree to pay all charges associated with your booking, including any agreed additional services performed at your request.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed booking, please contact us as early as possible. Cancellation or rescheduling charges may apply depending on how much notice is given and any costs already incurred on your behalf. Specific cancellation terms will be shared at the time of booking.
5. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate information about your move, ensuring safe and lawful access to the pickup and delivery locations, obtaining any required building or parking permissions, and declaring any items that are fragile, high-value, or hazardous. You should personally transport important documents, jewellery, cash, and irreplaceable items where possible.
6. Prohibited and Restricted Items
We do not transport illegal, hazardous, flammable, explosive, perishable, or prohibited goods. Shifting Fast reserves the right to refuse the handling of any item that we reasonably believe to be unsafe or unlawful.
7. Liability
We take reasonable care in handling your belongings. Our liability for loss or damage is limited to the extent permitted by applicable UAE law and as described in your booking documentation. We are not liable for items packed by the customer, pre-existing damage, or losses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Any claim for loss or damage must be reported to us in writing within the timeframe stated in your booking documentation.
